Homeopathy is mainly taken in tablet form and can be used for both acute and chronic conditions in people of all ages, including babies and pregnant women. It can be safely used alongside conventional medicine.
Homeopathic remedies are highly diluted—most often beyond Avogadro’s Number—so no molecular trace of the original substance remains. Instead, they work through an energetic imprint, making homeopathy completely different from taking herbs or supplements.

How It Works
Homeopathy is based on two principles that have been used in medicine for centuries, both in Eastern and Western traditions.
The first is “like cures like”—the idea that a substance that could cause symptoms in a healthy person can, in a homeopathic preparation, help the body recover from similar symptoms in illness. This works with the body’s natural healing response rather than suppressing it. The right remedy gives a nudge in the right direction, helping your system to get back on track. In chronic conditions, it can help shift things when the body seems stuck in a pattern of ill health.
Before remedies are used, they are tested on healthy volunteers in a process called “proving.” The physical, emotional, and mental effects are carefully recorded. When choosing a remedy, its unique symptom picture needs to match how you personally experience illness.
The second principle is “the minimum dose.” Homeopathy doesn’t work by forcing a reaction but by stimulating the body’s own ability to heal. Because of this, only a tiny dose is needed—just enough to send the right signal.
How to Take Your Remedy
- Avoid eating or drinking for 15 minutes before and after taking the remedy.
- Take it before bed if possible, so the body can respond without interruptions.
- Don’t handle the remedy—tip it straight from the envelope into your mouth.
- Let it dissolve under your tongue rather than swallowing it.
After taking the remedy, you should start to notice changes—physically, emotionally, or both. Sometimes symptoms briefly intensify before settling and improving. This is usually a good sign that the remedy is doing its job. Pay attention to any shifts, even subtle ones, so we can review them at your follow-up.
